Brisbane Local Sex: Meet Singles Who Want It Casual

One river organises the map: where to meet in daylight, how Nightlink gets you home and where to book a test.

The short answer

For casual sex in Brisbane, chat on the site first, then meet by the river or at a market in daylight. TransLink says every fare is 50 cents a trip (as of October 2026), so getting there is cheap, but trains finish early on Sundays. Work out together how you each get home before you set off.

The river, the Valley and the weather

  • The river

At South Bank, Visit Brisbane lists Streets Beach, almost 15 hectares of lawns and a cultural precinct. New Farm has a 37-acre park, and its Powerhouse Farmers Markets run Saturdays from 6am to noon, their site says (check the season).

  • The Valley

Visit Brisbane says Fortitude Valley was Australia’s first dedicated entertainment district, and the ABS lists it as Brisbane’s densest suburb, at 9,300 people per square kilometre. James Street, in the same suburb, is a fashion and dining precinct.

  • The weather

Subtropical. Wikipedia’s climate table, which credits the Bureau of Meteorology, gives January a top of 30.4°C and February the heaviest rain, 181.9 mm. Summers are humid with afternoon storms, so keep an indoor backup. Jacarandas bloom in October and November.

Fares and Nightlink

Getting home for 50 cents a trip

Nightlink
TransLink runs Nightlink buses between midnight and 5am on Friday and Saturday nights, plus Nightlink trains on the Beenleigh, Caboolture and Ipswich lines that leave Central between 3.46am and 3.58am. Buses leave from Fortitude Valley and the city, with security guards on board.
Last trains
TransLink’s table puts the last Friday and Saturday trains out of Central at 12.29am (Gold Coast), 12.34am (Beenleigh), 12.58am (Ipswich) and 1.07am (Caboolture). On Sundays the last Ipswich train leaves at 10.28pm. Check the timetable for your night.
Paying
TransLink says to tap a card or phone on at the start and off at the end of each trip, or it may charge a default fare.
Taxi ranks
TransLink says secure ranks have marshals, guards and CCTV on Friday and Saturday nights. In the Valley they are on Wickham and Ann Streets.

Checked October 2026. Times and fares change, so confirm on TransLink before you travel.
