You begin on Classic, which costs nothing to join. VIP goes from A$24.99 a week up to A$312.34 for a year, and VIP Plus from A$26.99 up to A$416.62. Shorter plans roll over until you cancel; the year-long plans do not.

How renewals and cancelling work
Simple rules, set out in full, so nothing on your bill comes as a surprise.
- Weekly, monthly, three-monthly and six-monthly plans renew on their own at the price shown, for the same length again, until you cancel.
- A 12-month plan is a single payment. When the twelve months are up it stops and nothing further is charged.
- To stop a rolling plan, cancel before the date it renews. Contact the support team or ask the chat bot, and an email with a link to the cancellation process follows. Support is open around the clock.

Choosing a level
Classic, VIP or VIP Plus?
Classic
Where you start. Fill in a full profile, browse the member list, collect each day’s suggestions, share photos and updates, and send a limited number of messages a day. Whenever a VIP or VIP Plus member writes to you, you can read it and answer, and the ID check badge costs nothing.
VIP
Takes off the daily message cap and opens the advanced filters, so you can narrow the list by city, distance, experience level and openness. You can also step into the exclusive chat rooms and start private group chats for as many as 50 people, use rewind and see everyone who has liked you.
VIP Plus
Everything in VIP plus exclusive matches, priority placement for your messages and likes, and a standing spot at the top of other members’ match stacks. Boosts and Super Match are optional extras you buy on top.

Messaging
Keep the conversation going
On Classic you get a daily allowance of messages, and you can always answer anyone on VIP or VIP Plus who writes to you. So a conversation can keep going as long as one of you holds VIP.
VIP lifts the cap, so you can write to as many people as you like, whenever you like, and use the city and distance filters to find people close by. You can start on Classic, build a profile and look around first, then step up to VIP when you want to write to more people. Do Local Sex Meets plans renew automatically?
Yes for the shorter plans: a week, a month, three months and six months each renew until you cancel. Both 12-month plans are a single payment and stop by themselves. The note under each price says which kind it is.
How do I cancel or get help with billing?
Cancel a rolling plan ahead of its renewal date and the next period is not charged. You start a cancellation by contacting the support team or asking the chat bot, and the link to finish it arrives by email. For anything unclear about billing, human support is there around the clock.
Can I message people without paying?
To a point. Classic includes a daily allowance of messages and lets you reply to anyone on VIP or VIP Plus. VIP removes that allowance and adds the search filters, chat rooms and private group chats.
Are Boosts and Super Match included in VIP Plus?
No, they cost extra and only VIP Plus members can buy them. A Boost promotes your profile to active members near you, while a Super Match is a message that stands out, so the person you write to notices it first.
Can I get a refund?
Under the site’s terms, purchases are generally final and a part-used period is not credited. The exception is where the law that applies to you gives you a right to a refund. Cancelling ahead of a renewal date is the safest route.
