Melbourne Casual Sex: Meet Local Singles, No Strings

Melbourne goes out across many inner streets, so here is where to meet in daylight and how to get home.

The short answer

To meet for sex in Melbourne, chat on the site first, then pick a street and meet there in daylight. Agree how each of you gets home before you go. PTV’s Night Network, as published in 2025, ran all night on Fridays and Saturdays, so check it before you rely on it.

Five stretches for a daytime first meet

Each stretch has its own feel, according to Visit Victoria. Pick one, then read meeting for sex safely before you lock in the place.

Seasons and weather

How the seasons change a Melbourne first meet

  • Summer

January is the hottest month, with a mean top of 26.6°C in Wikipedia’s 1991 to 2020 climate table, which credits the Bureau of Meteorology. The Australian Open runs at Melbourne Park from 11 to 31 January 2027, its organisers say.

  • Winter

July is the coldest, with a mean top of 14.1°C and a low of 7.3°C. Pick a roof, such as the NGV, where general entry costs nothing and some exhibitions are ticketed.

  • All year

Average rainfall runs from 40.5 to 58.3 mm in every month of the year. The weather can turn several times a day, so carry a layer.

Trams, trains, buses

What runs home after midnight in Melbourne?

  • PTV’s Night Network, as published in 2025, ran trains, trams and buses all night on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • Night trains ran every 60 minutes on almost every line, and after 1am every train ran direct to Flinders Street Station.
  • Night trams ran every 30 minutes on routes 19, 67, 75, 86, 96 and 109.
  • The Premier of Victoria said in July 2026 that tap-and-go with a bank card, phone or watch would be completed on every myki-enabled train, tram and bus on 26 July. Concession and under-18 passengers should keep using their concession or Youth myki.
  • PTV’s 2025 page says touching on before 3am avoids a return fare, and refers to a CBD tram zone where trams cost nothing.

Checked October 2026. The Night Network details come from PTV’s 2025 page, so confirm them before you travel.
